Nolan Landscaping proudly contributed to the Sturgis Ferry Park Improvements in Iowa City, Iowa, delivering durable and sustainable landscape solutions that elevate the beauty and function of this valued public space.
In collaboration with Streb Construction and Shive Hattery, our team focused on enhancing the park’s natural environment while promoting long-term erosion control and usability.
The project included the installation of 107 cubic yards of mulch to enrich soil health and reduce surface erosion, 850 linear feet of steel edging for crisp, defined transitions, and 1.5 acres of hydroseeding to establish vibrant, low-maintenance green spaces throughout the park.
Completed in just seven days, this city improvement project highlights Nolan Landscaping’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, environmental sustainability, and the enhancement of community spaces across Iowa.
