Description:

Nolan’s Lawn Care is looking for a Landscape Construction Crew Member that can perform a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of landscape installation services. You will also be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks.

This is a full time position where you will be working outdoors throughout the spring, summer and fall months, including snow removal operations in the winter months.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Safely and efficiently assist in installing quality landscapes
  • Have the proper training and tools needed to complete the job
  • Follow directions of the foreman to satisfy job requirements
  • Track hours accurately by clocking in and out
  • Gain knowledge in common horticulture and hardscape practices and installations
  • Assist with loading and preparing in the evening for the next work day
  • Assist with proper securement of equipment for transport
  • Assist in punctuality of start and end times, breaks and lunch periods
  • Ability to work well with all crew members, foreman and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and professional work site, truck/trailer and uniform
  • Adapt to various working situations
  • Perform duties the NLC way
Requirements Include:
  • 1-2 years of experience in the landscaping/lawn care industry is preferred but not required
  • Physically able to meet work demand in all weather conditions
  • Experience with skid steers and other landscape equipment
  • Ability to work on a team with other crew members
  • Present a professional image to provide our customers with an exceptional experience
  • Excellent dependability and communication skills

Nolan’s Lawn Care is looking for a Mowing Maintenance Crew Leader that can deliver exemplary, unmatched customer service. As a maintenance crew leader at Nolan’s Lawn Care you will lead a day-to-day maintenance and or installation crew on our customers' properties. You will safely operate machinery and hand tools as well as ensure the rest of your crew is doing the same.

  • Supervising all lawn maintenance service activities of your crew
  • Safely driving your crew to and from each property
  • Tracks hours accurately by clocking in and out
  • Assist in punctuality of start and end times, breaks and lunch periods
  •  Making sure your crew members are properly and safely operating equipment and tools
  • Ensure each member on your crew has the proper training and tools needed to complete the job
  • Complete assigned duties efficiently by working with your crew members
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform duties the NLC way
Requirements Include:
  • A valid driver's license in good standing
  • 1-2 years of experience in the landscaping/lawn care industry is preferred but not required
  • Physically able to meet work demand in all weather conditions
  • Experience with stand on mowers, string trimmers and blowers
  •  Ability to manage a team
  •  Present a professional image to provide our customers with an exceptional experience
  • Excellent dependability and communication skills
